Sometimes nerd dreams really do come true: I recently got an assignment on how sci-fi predicted the tech inventions we enjoy and even take for granted today. On a related note, Star Trek: Discovery is just about to wrap up its first season. I wrote a post on my initial impressions of the Discovery premiere back in September, and I’ve circled back to share my more complete thoughts on the show (voyage into the Mirrorverse and all). I haven’t been this excited about a Trek show since late Deep Space Nine. 🤓🖖
